Stylist, Chloé Roberson-Dixon has over 30 years of experience working in the hair care industry. She is a Master Educator & Master Hair Designer. Chloé began to work as a platform artist at educational seminars in Long Island, New York and surrounding areas while she was still enrolled in cosmetology school. During her time as a stylist, she had her work published in regional and national hair magazines, and worked alongside of Barry Fletcher and Floyd Kenyatta, winners of the Hair Olympics. Chloé also worked at Mulcare Salon in Queens, NY, creating innovative looks for hair shows across the East Coast.
In the early 90’s Chloé moved to North Carolina, where she furthered her growth as a hair care professional and received her NC Cosmetology license. With a vision for breaking stereotypes in the industry and showing off her unique sense of style, Chloé opened Elegant Style Salon. Soon after going into business she decided to relocate and expand her empire. She then opened Tranquility Salon & Spa, and began to branch out into other areas of the hair care profession.
Since opening Tranquility Salon & Spa she has participated in numerous local and national hair shows and competitions. She has even taken on the task of mentoring several young stylists, as well as participating in charity events such as Look Good-Feel Better, an organization that provides wigs and hair care tools for Cancer patients, and a self-esteem series with Girl Scouts of America.
Dixon strives for opportunities to further her education and share that knowledge with others. The Shear Genius brand creator developed an innovative hair cutting technique called Get Twisted. She is a member of the advisory board for Miller Motte College in Greenville NC, and is a Master Educator, Platform Artist, and Director of Education for Straight Request hair care products. She has participated in the Bronner Bros. International Hair Show, as well as several boot camp training programs. Her passion for vibrancy in hair has recently landed her a position on the Elite styling team for Jungle Fever hair color. Dixon also has her own product, Shear Genius hairline control, and is the visionary for Power Styling Team. She has been an influencer for several brands including hair care companies, such as Kirk Pro Products and Deca.
Chloé is a veteran in the hair care industry. After several years as an Educator for Straight Request, Chloé became the Director of Education, and continued to strengthen her brand and her positive reputation in the industry. She prides herself on her hair cutting and hair coloring skills and has developed a hair cutting technique that is known as the”5 minute Bob”. Her love for hair cutting established her branded persona as the Shear Genius.
In addition to being an educator herself, Chloé has continued to educate herself by attending hair shows like the Premier Hair Show in Orlando, the Cosmoprof hair show in Charlotte, and most recently the BTC Hair Show in Austin,TX. As a life learner who is always focused on preserving her craft, she has been sought after by several other well-known hair care companies.
